2024: Computer Mouse Production Launch Announcement

ABR Technology plans to launch the production of computer mice and keyboards in Russia in the first quarter of 2025. This became known in December 2024. The organization will become the second domestic manufacturer after Beshtau, included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

According to Vedomosti, ABR Technology expects not only to participate in public procurement, but also to enter the retail market through the Wildberries marketplace. The manufacturer's website already presents four types of sets of peripherals that are being prepared for release.

Oleg Osipov, General Director of Beshtau Group of Companies, noted that investments of at least ₽300 million are needed to organize the production of computer mice and keyboards. The main difficulty lies in finding qualified specialists - engineers and technologists.

ADB Technologies LLC was registered in 2020 with the sole owner and CEO Alan Gergiev. The company already manufactures computers, cases and all-in-ones.

In 2023, about 3 million computer mice and keyboards were sold in the public sector as part of automated workplaces. At the same time, the only Russian manufacturer Beshtau produces only 500 thousand devices a year.

Savely Tarasenko, leading product manager diHouse of Accessories, emphasized the shortage of domestic computer peripherals. ABR Technology already has experience in the production of Ruslan monitors, which received 90 localization points according to the system of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which allows you to participate in public procurement.

Independent analyst Aleksei Boyko pointed to the main production problem - the lack of crystal production in Russia for keyboard controllers and memory for mice. Success in the retail market will depend on the competitiveness of prices and the quality characteristics of products.^[1]
