ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is an international association of financial management professionals.
ACCA qualifications help build a career in finance, management, taxation, accounting and auditing in any sector of the economy.
The ACCA Approved Employee's status is indicative of the company's investment in human capital and reinforces its image as a responsible employer. Accreditation allows the employer to place vacancies free of charge on the resources of the Association, and employees to take part in regular events and webinars of the ASSA.
In addition, the status of an accredited employer allows employees to obtain and confirm membership in the ACCA in a simplified manner.

2020
ACCA to work within United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
ACCA, an association that brings together financial, auditing and accounting professionals, has published its commitments as part of the UN's global goal of achieving sustainable development goals.
The goal, values and strategy of the ASSA until 2025 are closely related to the tasks of the UN. The ACA recognizes the importance of all 17 Sustainable Development Goals announced by the UN Secretary-General and affirms that the Association and all its members commit themselves to making a substantial contribution to the achievement of 9 of them. They include providing access to quality financial and accounting education, working together to create an inclusive global profession that promotes ethical, sustainable and successful business and the economy as a whole.
The main obligations of ACCA are:
- Quality of training. We will continue to provide access to quality financial and accounting education that is free from artificial barriers.
- Gender equality. We will promote gender equality in the Association's global community and pursue it among our staff.
- Decent work and economic growth. We will empower our community and support organisations to be ethical, sustainable and successful.
- Industry, innovation and infrastructure. We will advocate for inclusion, diversity and social mobility within the financial community and the Association itself.
Appointment of Tatyana Gerashchenko to the post of director
From November 1, 2020, Tatyana Gerashchenko became the Head of the ASSA in Russia, an international Association uniting specialists in the field of finance, accounting and audit, replacing Ilya Lushnikov in this post. This became known on December 10, 2020. Read more here.
2016
In 2016, the association brought together 178,000 members and 455,000 students in 180 countries. More than 90 offices and centres around the world, as well as 7,000 accredited employers, provided training and development standards for ACCA members and students.
As of December 2016, more than 7,100 companies worldwide, including more than 80 companies in, Russia had the status of an ACCA-accredited employer.
