History

The AGT communication agency was registered in 1996 as Agency of the AGT Humanitarian Technologies LLC. From the very beginning the company specialized in creation of corporate communications. The agency actively developed, business extended and diversified, specialized subsidiary companies which in 2006 were joint under the general AGT Communications Group brand were created.

1996 – year of official registration of the AGT Communication agency

1997 – The AGT communication agency publishes the book by the spouse of the president of Kazakhstan Sara Nazarbaeva "For the sake of life".

1998 – The AGT communication agency becomes the partner of the largest Russian oil company "Rosneft".

1999 – The AGT communication agency begins cooperation with the Russian companies of communication, is engaged in information and image maintenance of restructuring of JSC Svyazinvest and JSC Rostelecom.

2000 – foundation year of Bemobi IT company which is engaged in the innovation web developments. 2000 became also year of the beginning of active regional expansion. In St. Petersburg the first subsidiary company "AGT Northwest" opened that laid the foundation for the new direction of communication activity – Regional Relations (regional PR). Also this year the travel agency "geo-Tur" was founded.

2001 – The AGT communication agency wins the tender for information support of the restructuring program of JSC Norilsk Nickel MMC and begins cooperation with the leading foreign business media. 2001 – foundation of MegaFon company – the beginning of cooperation of the AGT Communication agency and OJSC MegaFon.

2002 – together with the leading Russian media the AGT agency is engaged in information support of one of priority programs of social and economic development of the Russian Federation – the Federal target program "Electronic Russia".

2003 – The AGT communication agency wins the tender for information support of the program of upgrade of Russian education in electronic media, participates in creation of the information-center at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

2004 – the Medialayn Publishing house which becomes one of market leaders of the corporate press is established. Monthly the company issues more than 30 corporate editions with a general circulation of 750,000 copies.

2005 – active expansion of the AGT Communication agency to regions continues. The AGT subsidiary companies in Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk are registered. Began work of representation in Samara, Krasnodar and Nizhny Novgorod.

The creative bureau Imagine becomes a part of the AGT Communication holding. The Imagine company undertook one of the main activities of AGT - the organization of holidays and business actions.

2006 – from the AGT Communication agency the AGT-Telecom PR-agency which main specialization are communication services for participants telecom and the IT market is selected. There is consolidation of all companies of holding under a brand the AGT Communication group. Rebranding of the AGT Communication agency and the AGT-Telecom PR-agency is carried out.

2006 – in Minsk the office of the Communication agency AGT-Belarus was opened

2008 – The AGT communication group becomes the full member of Association of the companies – consultants in the field of public relations.

2008 – Roszarubezhcentre signed the agreement on cooperation with the AGT Communication group on joint information support of foreign policy of the Russian Federation abroad.

2008 – For active development of the industry of public relations in regions of the Russian Federation and also in neighboring countries, the chairman of the board of directors of the AGT Communication group Vyacheslav Lashchevsky is conferred the national award "Media Manager of Russia 2008".

2008 – The Social networks agency which became the first company in Russia, the rendering service in the field of Social Network Relations (www.snetwork.ru) is organized. The agency was headed by the recognized expert in the field of Internet communications – Denis Terekhov.

2008 – in Almaty the office of the Communication agency AGT-Kazakhstan was opened

2009 – The AGT subsidiary company in the capital of the Southern Federal District – Rostov-on-Don is registered

2009 – The AGT communication agency signed partnership agreements in the field of implementation of social projects with the Media union, National council of children's and youth associations of Russia, the Russian Union of Youth and Fund of development of social initiatives New Perspectives.

2009 - The chairman of the board of directors of the AGT Communication group Vyacheslav Lashchevsky was included into strategic council of International association of business communicators IABC/Russia

2010 – The AGT communication agency implements the "Information and Methodical Maintenance of Implementation of a Complex of Actions for Preparation and Carrying Out in Russia Years of the Teacher" Project

2010 – According to the results of work in 2009 the AGT Communication agency is recognized by the largest state contractor in the field of PR-services.

2010 – The communication agency AGT-Siberia held the First international contest of projects on promotion of territories the "Gold sandpiper" who does not have analogs in Russia and the world.

2010 – The Imagine Event-agency is certified by Association of directors of communications and corporate media.

2010 – At the end of 2009 the AGT Communication group took the seventh place among the communication agencies of Continental Europe and entered in Top-50 of the largest world PR-companies of rating The Holmes Report.

2011 – The chairman of the board of directors of the AGT Communication group Vyacheslav Lashchevsky is elected the Vice president of the Russian Association for public relations (RASO).

2012 – At the end of 2011 the AGT Communication group entered in TOP-50 the leading communication agencies of the world and became the largest agency in Russia, Central and Eastern Europe according to the international rating of The Holmes Report-2012.

2012 – According to the results of work in 2011 the AGT Communication agency was included into the list of the largest PR-agencies servicing government institutions and won first place in the Information and Explanatory Work segment which includes the players specializing in comprehensive support of the state customers.

Awards

2007 – The AGT-Telecom PR-agency is conferred the main award of Russia in the field of public relations Silver Luchnik.

2007 - The CEO of Medialayn publishing house Larisa Rudakova — the winner of the National Award in the field of media industry "Media manager-2007" in the Corporate Press \Communications nomination — "For creation and successful development of the publishing house specializing in issue of corporate editions on the terms of outsourcing".

2011 – AGT was among winners of the award BRAND GODA/EFFIE-2010.

2011 – AGT received a prestigious award of 2011 Gold Quill Award of Merit of International Association of business communications (IABC) in category "Communication management: Multi-Audience Communication"

2012 – For development of the communication industry in regions of Russia the CEO of the AGT Communication agency Irina Bolshedvorskaya became the winner of the National award "Media Manager of Russia-2012"
