INTC "Aerospace Innovative Valley" has established a venture capital fund of 1 billion rubles for investments in drones and radio electronics

The foundation will focus on funding projects in space technology, unmanned aircraft, information systems, biomedical technology, radio engineering and radio electronics. Only INTC resident companies operating in specialized areas have the right to receive investments.

The Aerospace Innovation Valley Research and Development Center, created by decree of the Russian government on April 22, 2022 with the participation of the Moscow Aviation Institute, is developing projects in the field of aerospace systems and technologies.

The new venture capital fund will interact with residents of other innovation centers, including the Intellectual Electronics - Valdai Research and Development Center, which specializes in microelectronics, and the Nuclear and Medical Technology Park, which develops atomic and additive technologies.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening Russia's technological sovereignty in strategically important industries. The fund will provide financial support for developments in unmanned systems, electronic components and advanced medical technologies.

The creation of a specialized venture capital fund will expand the possibilities of financing high-tech projects within the framework of the national innovation system. The investment mechanism takes into account the specifics of the work of scientific and technological centers.

Priority investment areas will be projects that contribute to the development of the domestic component base and the creation of competitive technological solutions in the field of aviation, space and radio electronics.[1]
