History
In July 2018, the chairman of the Inconsalt Bar Association, a well-known IT lawyer Alexei Kirsanov, established Ai Ti Invest.
Kirsanov owns 85% of Ai Ti Invest. Another 15% share of a certain Irina Yashechkina.
Ex-employee of the Russian IBM and former Deputy Minister of Communications of the Russian Federation Ilya Massukh became the general director of Ai Ti Invest.
The activities of Ai Ti Invest will be related to investments in IT projects at the junction of software and equipment, Massukh told TAdviser. We are talking about already quite established companies than startups, he added.
According to Massukh, it is planned to attract external investors to the projects by Ai Ti Invest.
Since the company is an investment company, it is not necessary to hire a significant staff in it, says the general director. He himself plans to manage the company, but along with Ai Ti Invest, he will continue to work at the Center for Import Substitution Competencies in ICT.
Since 2012, having left the post of Deputy Minister of Communications, Massukh has been developing the Russian Public Initiative, an Internet platform for promoting civil legislative initiatives. In 2016, he became a lobbyist for domestic software developers, heading the ANO "Competence Center for Import Substitution in the ICT Sector."
Lawyer Kirsanov at different times defended the large IT companies R-Style, Technoserv, Asteros, Electronic Moscow, Medkor 2000, and since 2015 he has owned 10% of the New Cloud Technologies company, which produces products under the MyOffice brand.
Massukh and Kirsanov have previously collaborated. Within the framework of the Russian Public Initiative, Kirsanov was the chief expert of legal examinations of public initiatives, says Massukh.
Alexey Kirsanov himself was unable to promptly provide TAdviser with comments about the new company and whose money Ai Ti Invest will invest.
