For August, 2018 object of activity of Akvainfoteka Federal State Institution ("Fund of Information on Water Resources" federal state institution) is information support of Federal Agency for Water Resources, its territorial authorities and subordinated organizations for prevention of negative impact of waters and liquidation of its effects, to actions for protection of the water bodies which are in federal property, prevention of their pollution, contamination and exhaustion of waters and also measures for mitigation of consequences of the specified phenomena in the territory of the Russian Federation.
