History

2022: Declared bankrupt

In May 2022, Alager was declared insolvent (bankrupt) and bankruptcy proceedings were opened against it.

2021: Bankruptcy proceedings begin

In October 2021, bankruptcy proceedings began against Alager, TAdviser found out. Since 2016, Alager has been Moscow a contractor for the Center for Traffic Management, leasing photo and video recording complexes (FVF) of traffic violations under a contract of almost 3 billion (rubles more about the project).

Alager LLC in recent years has been a project company engaged only in a specific contract for FVF cameras in Moscow. This contract ends in early December this year. The company's activities in such a situation no longer make sense, - explained TAdviser its founder and CEO Vyacheslav Simonenko

According to him, the company will fulfill all its obligations to the customer under the ending contract and will further resolve issues with counterparties, settling mutual claims (in particular, with MVS Group, note TAdviser).

Simonenko added that, together with the development team, he is engaged and plans to continue to engage in photo and video recording of traffic violations and not only.

We are the manufacturer of one of the best complexes of the FVF "SADKO" in the country. The second generation of devices has already been released, which in terms of technical characteristics is unparalleled today. This device can be used in all installation options and records all the traffic violations necessary to date by all available methods. The plans are to release the third generation entirely on Russian components, including a Russian processor, and enter the international markets of other countries, - said Vyacheslav Simonenko

2018: 1C withdrawal from the founders, Simonenko's share in the pledge from Sberbank

As TAdviser found out, in March 2018, 1C"" ceased to be the owner of 80% of Alager. From now on, this share belongs to the legal entity itself. The remaining 20%, as before, is owned by ex-general director Merlion Vyacheslav Simonenko.

The share of Simonenko himself since 2017 under loan agreements and bank guarantees has been pledged by Sberbank.

By the time the material was published, 1C and Alager were unable to provide comments.

According to information from the Alager website, the company has five main areas of activity as of 2018:

At the same time, the section of the site dedicated to implemented projects says only two. The first is the Alager launch project for renting 500 cameras for photo and video recording of traffic violations for a period of 5 years to the Moscow data center for rent for 2.9 billion rubles. The second is the organization of computer literacy courses in the city of Moscow.

According to the public procurement website, Alager tried, but failed to win, more than 20 large and medium-sized tenders with state organizations totaling 548 million rubles. In particular, the company did not work with Rostelecom, Russian Capital Bank, Rossiya Segodnya MIA, Goznak, VTB Factoring, etc.

According to Alager's own information, in 2017 the company won a number of tenders for commercial structures, including a general contract under a concession agreement for the installation of a photo and video recording system in the Moscow Region (1 740 757 026 rubles), Comcor (30,138,000 rubles), OTP Bank (11,500,000 rubles), Moscow Credit Bank (8,218,000 rubles), MUEC-PROJECT (8,080,000 rubles), Miratorg TC, Promsvyazbank PJSC, RosevroBank, Polyus Krasnoyarsk, FSUE NII Tekhnomash, Matrosov Mine (RiM JSC), Sibur, PJSC BINBANK, PJSC Polyus.

According to Rosstat, Alager's revenue in 2016 amounted to 341.6 million rubles, loss - 5.7 million rubles. The results of activities in 2017 were not published.

According to the company itself, revenue for 2017 amounted to 1.8 billion rubles against 430 million in 2016.

2015: Building a Company

Alager (Alager LLC) was created in April 2015 by Vyacheslav Simonenko, who has been distributing IT products since the late 1990s, and in 2007-2013 worked as the general director of the largest Russian IT distributor Merlion.

In August 2015, the owner of 80% of Alager, according to the Kontur.Focus database, became 1C. The remaining 20% belonged to Simonenko, who was also the CEO of the company.

The goal of Alager is to ensure the supply of equipment for complex projects that are carried out by joint ventures and 1C franchisees, as well as to organize qualified support, a company representative told TAdviser.

Alager intended to distribute desktop and mobile PCs, Acer,, Apple, and Dell, HP Lenovo Samsung peripherals and consumables, APC Cactus,,, HP Samsung communications equipment,,,,, Avaya as well as Cisco HP Netgear server equipment,,,, and. Dell HP Huawei Lenovo Oracle

In 2015, it was assumed that the ex-CEO of Merlion Vyacheslav Simonenko will help 1C organize the distribution of equipment

In addition, the new "daughter" "1C" was supposed to deal with the supply of software. The representative of the company did not talk about the prospects for combining Alager with its own 1C distribution area. 1C, we recall, receives about a third of its revenue from the sales of software from third-party companies (Microsoft, Abbyy, ASCON, Corel, etc.).

According to Maxim Andreev, director of business applications at CROC, the creation of a distribution company is a logical solution for 1C, "because the company seeks to provide comprehensive services for customers."

In this case, if an effective supply channel for standard equipment appears, then many 1C partners will take advantage of this opportunity. For example, through "1C" you can purchase the necessary Microsoft licenses, so why not buy typical equipment, - he reasoned

In addition, this activity is justified from the standpoint of the company's business model, Andreev said. It involves the development of new areas through the organization of joint ventures in which ownership control is carried out on the 1C side, and operational management of activities remains with the partner.
