2025: Completion

In the Altai Territory, the construction of the AltaiBioTech pharmaceutical technopark worth ₽1 billion has been completed. The facility, created on the basis of the Altayvitamin company, received official permission for commissioning and began work in Biysk. The opening took place in February 2025.

According to Farmprom, the project was supported by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia in 2021, which allocated a subsidy of ₽500 million from the federal budget for the creation of infrastructure for resident companies.

Altai

Technopark is a production complex with an area of 8 thousand square meters, equipped with modern laboratories and IT infrastructure. The facility was created to support enterprises specializing in the production of medicines, biologically active additives and products made of environmentally friendly raw materials.

The first resident of the technopark was the Extrabad company, which plans to produce food additives and conduct research activities in the laboratories provided.

The technopark is aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development of production, especially in areas requiring import substitution. Residents will have access to modern equipment and the necessary infrastructure for the development and production of pharmaceutical products.

AltaiBioTech has become an important element of the infrastructure for supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the region. Technopark provides comprehensive conditions for the development of pharmaceutical industries, including laboratory facilities, production areas and technological equipment.

The total cost of the project, initially estimated at ₽800 million, during the implementation process, the cost was increased. Despite an increase in the budget and a shift in implementation due to the search for additional funding, the project was successfully completed.[1]
