About the enterprise

The enterprise locates steel-smelting capacities of 2.15 million tons of steel a year. JSC Amurmetal produces steel for reinforcing of reinforced concrete structures, rolling angular, round, rolled wire, a wire, thin-sheet and hot-rolled plate, a bent profile, road metal fences of barrier type, water gas steel electrowelded gas pipelines, high-quality and slyabovy procurements. Raw materials for steel production is scrap of ferrous metals.

JSC Amurmetal is registered on February 25, 1997. A new part of the Amurstal enterprise – the Far East Conversion Steel Works (FECSW) became base for formation of the new enterprise. The equipment of the former construction complexes "Steels" and "Rolling", workshop of preparation of scrap, several non-productive departments, and later – sheet-rolling workshop and workshop of bent profiles was a part of JSC Amurmetal at the first stage. For the history the enterprise passed several stages of development as a result of which the name and final authority appeared.

For the first time in the history of domestic Far East metallurgy large-scale reconstruction of steel-smelting production is carried out to the period from 2006 to 2010 at the JSC Amurmetal enterprise. A main objective of the carried-out reconstruction was increase in steel production by 1.15 million tons per year (up to 2.15 million tons per year) and also the maximum loading sorto-and sheet-rolling productions. Besides, the electrosteel-smelting workshop expanded a products range. Now the workshop has an opportunity to make not only high-quality, but also slyabovy procurement.

As a result of reconstruction the modern metallurgical equipment as a part of the arc steel-smelting DSP-125 No. 2 furnace with a gas purification complex (equipment supplier Concast company, Switzerland), the unit ladle furnace No. 2 (JSC Sibelektroterm equipment supplier, Russia), the slyabovy machine of continuous pouring of steel No. 2 with an annex to the producing department is put into operation (equipment supplier SMS Demag company, Germany), events for reconstruction and upgrade of objects of external power supply are held, flight of an overload of scrap and subjects to water treatment are put into operation and also works on expansion of railway tracks are carried out.

Now the enterprise locates the necessary equipment for ensuring work as two production lines of production of procurement: the chipboard No. 1 electric furnace – the unit ladle furnace No. 1 – high-quality MNLZ No. 1; the chipboard No. 2 electric furnace – the unit ladle furnace No. 2 – slyabovy MNLZ No. 2.

Unfortunately, the world financial crisis of 2008 did not allow to put into operation two production lines at the same time.

Because of a lack of the current assets caused by a world financial crisis, JSC Amurmetal is forced to make products on technology in an incomplete configuration.

Serve as confirmation of high quality and product competitiveness the certificate of conformity of a factory Quality management system to requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2005 issued by the German certified society TUV CERT; certificate on recognition of river and sea registers; certificates of conformity of the Mosstroysertifikation System; the positive conclusion of results of the test tests of the Norwegian company MOLAB AS which are carried out by request of AKKER KVAERNERN TECHNOLOGI using an armature in construction of the oil platform on the Sakhalin-II project. Reinforcing rolling of JSC Amurmetal is delivered according to the American standard of ASTM.

Capital stock

Authorized capital of JSC Amurmetal is 3,637,015,380 rub and is separated into 54,738,775 ordinary and 5,878,148 preferred shares of 60 rub.

Workshops and divisions

Workshop of preparation of scrap

The workshop of preparation of scrap is intended for warehousing, sorting and processing of oversized scrap metal and also production of lime and preparation of a karbonizatror.

Are a part of workshop:

• sections for warehousing, sorting and fire cutting of the arriving scrap metal;
• section of shearing press. Section is equipped with shearing press of PC 1730AC of production of VEZZANI company (Italy) – 2 units with an overall performance of 350 thousand tons per year and are serviced by mobile reloaders;
• section of koprovy crushing;
• lime roasting section. Section is equipped with two limy and calcination mine furnaces with a performance of 65 and 73 thousand tons per year respectively;
• section of preparation of a carbonizer.

The workshop of preparation of scrap has an opportunity to provide acceptance of the arriving scrap metal to 9000 tons per day and to place up to 300 thousand tons of scrap metal on the squares.

Electrosteel-smelting workshop

The electrosteel-smelting workshop is intended for production of nepreryvnolity high-quality and slyabovy procurement for further repartition in long and sheet products.

Are a part of workshop:

• two arc steel-smelting DSP-125 furnaces, productions of JSC Sibelektroterm (Novosibirsk, Russia) and CONCAST companies (Switzerland) with a performance of 1.0 and 1.15 million tons of steel in a year respectively;
• two ladle furnace units on operational development and refinement became (AKP-130), productions of JSC Sibelektroterm (Novosibirsk, Russia) with a performance of 1.0 and 1.15 million tons of steel in a year respectively;
• high-quality shestiruchyevy machine of continuous casting of procurements (MCCP) No. 1 of radial type with the nominal section of a crystallizer (125×125 mm), productions of the Southern Ural machine-building plant (Orsk, Russia), procurement with a performance of 1.0 million tons in a year;
• the slyabovy machine of continuous casting of procurements No. 2, productions of SMS DEMAG company (Germany), procurement with a performance of 1.15 million tons in a year 1000÷1900 mm wide, 150 thick; 200; 250 mm;
• department of preparation slag-forming and ferroalloys with furnaces for drying of materials and a vesodozirovka;
• the department of gas purification equipped with hose filters of CONCAST company (Switzerland).

Production capacity of workshop is 2.15 million tons of steel a year.

Sortoprokatny workshop

The Sortoprokatny workshop is intended for steel production for reinforcing of reinforced concrete structures, six-sided, round and angular rolling, rolled wire, a wire.

Are a part of workshop:

• rolling mill 320/150, productions of SKET company (GDR), rolling with a performance of 600 thousand tons in a year;
• the heating furnace with a walking hearth;
• drawing camps 2500/5 and 2500/6, with an overall performance of 6,500 tons per year.

In sortoprokatny workshop the technology of rolling separation ("slitting-process") on a small-size and wire camp of reinforcing profiles No. No. 10 is developed and successfully implemented; 12; 14; 16. For this development JSC Amurmetal is awarded with a silver medal at the 12th International specialized exhibition "Metall-Expo ' 2006".

Sheet-rolling workshop

The sheet-rolling workshop is intended for production thinly - and hot-rolled plate, rolling for shipbuilding.

Are a part of workshop:

• trekhkletyevy a sheet-rolling camp 2300/1700, productions of the New and Kramatorsk machine-building plant (Ukraine), with a performance of 600 thousand tons sheet rolling in the year producing sheet steel 2÷25 mm thick and 1000÷2000 mm wide;
• four methodical heating furnaces for heating of slabs and ingots before rolling;
• the thickness meter F-3500MC of production of Mesacon Messelelektronik company (Germany) on a camp of 2300;
• the thickness meter RTM of production of Kvant Ltd (Yekaterinburg, Russia) on a camp of 1700;
• department for heat treatment of the sheet with two roller furnaces through passage and the hardening machine.

For quality control of sheet rolling installation of ultrasonic examination of production of NORDINKRAFT company (Germany, Russia) is set.

Workshop of bent profiles

The workshop of bent profiles is intended for production of a bent profile, road barriers of barrier type and welded gas-water pipes.

Are a part of workshop:

• unit of longitudinal cutting of the Agrarian Party of Russia 0.8÷8×1550, productions of the Old and Kramatorsk machine-building plant, procurement with a performance of 120 thousand tons per year;
• PGA 2÷8×100÷600 profilegibochny unit, productions of the Old and Kramatorsk machine-building plant, with a performance of 120 thousand tons per year bent profile and road barriers;
• pipe welding camp of RS 90/4.0-180, production of VAI SETHE company (Germany) with a performance up to 74 thousand tons of pipes a year. Camp range: round pipes – with a (outer diameter) of 20÷89 mm;
• square and rectangular pipes – from 25×25 mm to 40÷100 of mm.
