2016: Liquidation of concern
At the beginning of 2016 the Government of Ukraine liquidated aircraft manufacturing concern "Antonov". The decision was made in connection with transfer of all enterprises entering into its structure to Ukroboronprom concern.
The government of Ukraine founded the commission which will be engaged in final liquidation of the aircraft manufacturing holding of Antonov concern, largest in the country. The company should be defunct within two months.[1] is said about it[2] in the resolution on the website of the Ukrainian cabinet of July 19, 2017.
In three months the commission headed by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Ukraine Yury Brovchenko is obliged to pay off debts to the liquidated company completely. Structures of Antonov will be included in Ukroboronprom holding.
The resolution of the Cabinet of Ukraine No. 546 liquidates an aircraft manufacturing concert Antonov, reports the Government portal. "The cabinet of Ukraine decides:
- Liquidate the state aircraft manufacturing concern "Antonov" (further - concern).
- Form the commission on liquidation of concern in structure according to the application. Approve as the chairman of the specified commission of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and trade Brovchenko Yury Petrovich. To the commission chairman: provide implementation of the actions connected with liquidation of concern, and representation in the two-month time of requirements by creditors; in three-months time to the Cabinet of Ukraine a liquidation balance sheet of concern.

Liquidation commission was headed by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Ukraine Brovchenko. It is entrusted to it to provide the actions connected with liquidation of concern and submission of requirements of creditors in two-month time. Within three months he is also obliged to give to the Cabinet of Ministers a liquidation balance sheet of concern Earlier was reported that the Ukrainian authorities liquidate more than 1200 enterprises. 893 more industrial facilities will be privatized.
Russia is ready to create all conditions for work of the Ukrainian engineers who created An to save Antonov's school. The deputy chief of department of advanced developments of Antonov Andrey Haustrov said that the Russian component parts are necessary for release of the device. The government declared the Russian Federation determination to accept aircraft designers of the Ukrainian enterprise "Antonov".
2015: Transfer of Ukroboronpromu concern
In 2015 the Antonov Company, HAGPP and the 410th plant were transferred to Ukroboronprom state concern which includes most the enterprises of the Ukrainian MIC.
2005: Creation of Antonov concern
Antonov was created in 2005 for consolidation of the state enterprise of the same name existing since 1989 with production cooperation of the Kiev CB Antonova.
The concern included, except the Antonov Company, the Kharkiv state air manufacturing enterprise (HAGPP) and the 410th plant of civil aviation.
Post-Soviet period
After the collapse of the USSR the concern focused on several projects: passenger and passenger-and-freight An-140, An-148 and An-158 airplanes and also An-70 military transport plane.
The ANTONOV COMPANY was one of the few enterprises of the world implementing a full stroke of creation of the modern aircraft – from its development before serial production and ensuring complex after-sale support.
1997: Accident of transport An-124 in Irkutsk
The transport airplane An-124-100 566 Air Force of Russia performed the flight en route Moscow — Irkutsk — Vladivostok — Cam Ranh, but during a departure from Irkutsk at it three of four engines refused. Having risen by height of 66 meters, the airplane lost control and fell to apartment houses of the residential district of Aircraft manufacturers and completely collapsed. 72 persons died (49 of them — on the earth).

1978
1952: Transfer of CB to Kiev
In 1952 the design office under the leadership of Oleg Antonov is transferred to Kiev.
The CB in Soviet period specialized in development of airplanes for civil (An-2, An-24) and military transport (An-12, An-22) aircraft.
The enterprise created the well-known An-124 Ruslan and An-225 of Mriya developed as a part of a system of transportation of the space shuttle "Snow-storm".
1946: Creation of CB in Novosibirsk
The design office under the leadership of Oleg Antonov was created in 1946 in Novosibirsk.
