The Kirov branch JSC Apatit is the enterprise for production high-grade (with the maintenance of P2O5 not less than 37.5% for 2020) phosphatic raw materials and the only producer of a nepheline concentrate in Russia.
History
2020
For 2020 the enterprise develops six Hibinsky fields: Kukisvumchorrskoye, Yuksporskoye, Apatite Circus, Plato Rasvumchorr, Koashvinskoye and Nyorkpakhkskoye.
2014
As of 2014 JSC Apatit develops six fields: Kukisvumchorrskoye, Yuksporskoye, Apatite Circus, Plato Rasvumchorr, Koashvinskoye and Nyorkpakhkskoye. Extraction of ore is made on four mines: two underground and two open.
2012
JSC Apatit entering into the PhosAgro Group is the world's largest enterprise, according to data of Fertecon for 2012, on production high-grade (with the maintenance of P2O5 more than 35.7%) phosphatic raw materials – an apatite concentrate - and the only producer of a nepheline concentrate in Russia.
2011
For 2011 JSC Apatit is a mining chemical complex which part four mines are, two apatite - nepheline enrichment factories, railway and motor transportation workshops and also other auxiliary divisions. Enters into PhosAgro Group.
Apatite is the city-forming enterprise for the cities of Kirovsk and Apatity. Apatite implements the active social policy directed to maintenance of quality of the social environment in the Kirov and Apatity district.
In 80 years of the work the enterprise got and processed 1.7 billion t of ore, having produced more than 600 million tons apatite and over 60 million t nepheline concentrates. The main products - the most environmentally friendly in the world an apatite concentrate - are known to all producers of phosphoric fertilizers. The released nepheline concentrate serves as raw materials for alumina production, is used in glass and ceramic industry.

JSC Apatit is formed on November 13, 1929 based on unique Hibinsky fields apatite - nepheline ores and is among the largest global manufacturers of phosphatic raw materials.
