Armtek is the information service integrating independent wholesale operators, specialists in the market of spare parts for passenger and trucks of foreign production.

Armtek is group which is engaged in distribution of spare parts for passenger and trucks and also the equipment for service stations of motor transport. Representative offices are located in Minsk and in Moscow. Clients are the organizations which are engaged in car service and retail networks of the corresponding profile which are located in Russia and Belarus. All these operators are different legal entities with the general purchasing and distribution logistics and also with the general technologies of sales and customer service. Branches of the company independently build and implement financial policy, and in this aspect its processes are decentralized. Vendor relations are centralized, and together with it all cycle of processes from purchase planning to a delivery on branches at us is under construction on the uniform principles too. The same concerns also price policy.

Capital assets of business are distribution centers in the territory of two called states and also transport using which the goods to the consumer are delivered. In addition the company has leased warehousing capacit in Europe where foreign suppliers deliver auto parts.

Basic functions of business directly follow from its industry accessory. This planning and carrying out purchases, distribution of goods by branches and sale to his clients. Naturally, it is necessary for implementation of these functions that the competent management of work of distribution centers and transport was adjusted.

The feature of business consists as well that the company operates with very considerable range of goods numbering about 150 thousand positions. Among them there are parts which can be taken unless tweezers, and is also such which manually will not be able to get moving forward even several people.

As for automation, purchase, logistics and sale functionally becomes covered. IT support be under construction on the basis of SAP ERP which develops at us in the form of uniform installation. Functions of this system are available to users of all group Armtek. There are also other information systems automating, say, document flow and controlling execution of instructions. There is a portal for external users and, certainly, classical office systems.

The main problem of management of group as uniform business on the basis of the unified information system of support of the main business processes consists in formation of a certain standardization of requirements, work methods and also in streamlining of desires of separate divisions which, being uncontrollable, always have a certain natural dispersion.

Standardization of work in business is extremely useful in general and when the speech as it in our case, goes about work of the divisions having the known share of independence, in particular. And we, say, even including sales process by independent activity of our branches, aim to standardize it, and then to make obligatory for execution by all branches.

Often happens so that the requirement of one division is in some conflict with aspirations of another. It is necessary to watch closely similar events very much and at their emergence to try to develop certain general consolidated and, as a rule, the compromise solution satisfying both parties. In general three groups of questions are subject to permanent balancing: the objective operational needs of hotel managers of the company, global business needs having a long-term outlook, and the nature of market development in general. Only at persistent coordination of all these questions it is possible to talk reasonable politics in the field of automation. These are uncommon and besides the tasks requiring daily attention which for today as it is represented to me, we manage to solve. Therefore also development of SAP implementation of ERP goes quite successfully.

But I will emphasize that even having very mature product at the enterprise, it is correct to speak about success only in the context of today. If to relax with the solution above the designated questions, everything can change quickly for the worse.
