Astroy Agreement for IT Interoperability

Astra Group of Companies on February 15, 2022 announced the conclusion of an agreement on technological partnership with the ASONIKA Research Institute, which is engaged in modeling radio electronics and is actively engaged in educational activities. The document provides for certification of IT products developed at the Research Institute under the Ready for Astra Linux program, as well as cooperation in the formation, implementation and support of joint solutions.

The partnership agreement provides for a set of works aimed at checking and ensuring full compatibility of IT solutions created at ASONIKA Research Institute and Astra Group of Companies. Official certification of products within the framework of the Ready for Astra Linux IT manufacturers cooperation program, joint work in the areas of formation, implementation and support of domestic high-tech solutions, as well as the participation of Astra Group in the educational process of the research institute are planned.

The key activities of the institute are comprehensive mathematical modeling of radioelectronic means (RES), creation of maps of working modes of the electronic component base, comprehensive analysis of reliability indicators and creation digital twins electronic engineers, as well as system integration computer-aided design of RES, integrated computer modeling and technological preparation of production. In addition, the specialists of the Research Institute are engaged in the creation and implementation of an automated system for ensuring the reliability and quality of ASONIKA equipment in accordance with the requirements of CALS technologies at the stages of design, production and operation.

In addition to scientific innovative work, the institute is actively engaged in educational activities: the development of training methods for automated design and comprehensive computer modeling of RES, there are advanced training and retraining courses for specialized specialists. On the basis of the ASONIKA Research Institute in Vladimir, the ASONIKA Competence Center was created in the field of modeling and virtual tests of the electronic component base and electronic equipment for external influences.

NII is included in the register of accredited organizations in the field of IT, and the products developed by its specialists are included in the "Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases" of the Ministry of Digital Science of Russia.

We are joining forces to fill the domestic market with fully compatible Russian IT solutions in the near future, which will be able to compete with foreign counterparts in terms of functionality, quality and ease of use, and will also be able to meet the needs of any customer. Domestic radio electronics are actively developing, and it is very important at the production stage to ensure the correct joint operation of all software and hardware solutions. Only in this case can you effectively use import-independent technologies and develop your own economy, - said Anton Rudevsky, head of the department for working with partners of Astra Group of Companies.

2018: Asonika Competence Center in the field of virtual tests of ECB and electronic equipment

The Asonika Competence Center in the field of modeling and virtual tests of the electronic component base (ECB) and electronic equipment (EA) for external influences (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was created in Vladimir in 2018 as a structural unit of the Asonika Research Institute (Asonika Research Institute - Skolkovo resident in the Information Technology Cluster) and is located in a separate building in the city center on Lunacharsky Street.

This is the first in Russia Competence Center in the field of modeling and virtual tests of ECB and EA on external influences.

The Center provides consultations in the field of modeling and virtual tests of ECB and EA for external influences, conducts lectures and practical classes on the basis of its own design - the Automated system for ensuring the reliability and quality of ASONIKA equipment, provides the opportunity to independently model its products under the guidance of Center employees.

Tasks of the Center:

  • Customers conduct virtual tests of their designs directly at the Center under the guidance of the Center specialists.
  • Remote virtual testing of customer structures by the Center's specialists.
  • Conduct face-to-face training workshops for division managers on modeling and virtual testing technology.
  • Conduct face-to-face training workshops for engineers on specific modeling and virtual test tasks.
  • Conducting research work in order to develop technical requirements for ensuring reliability, resistance to modern ECB for military, special and general industrial purposes.
  • Technical expert review of the completed ECB and EA designs in terms of compliance of thermal, mechanical, electromagnetic characteristics and reliability indicators with the requirements of the technical assignment for development.
  • Training in standards and guiding military documents in the field of simulations and virtual tests of ECB and EA on external influences.
