Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR)

Association of tour operators (ATOR) — the non-commercial industry consolidation created in 2007 which protects the interests of tour operator community. ATOR include 31 largest tour operator companies of the Russian Federation. Members of ATOR in total provide about 90% of all outbound tourism flow from Russia, more than 70% entrance and more than 80% of internal organized tourist flow. All members of ATOR are entered in the Unified federal register of tour operators of Russia and have an insurance warranty. ATOR advocates the interests of the participants, provides them with legal and information support. Since 2009 ATOR is the associated member of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). In 2014 the Association of tour operators was awarded with the prize World Travel Leaders Award as the best tourist organization of Russia.
