History
2016: Absorption by NetByNet company
On April 15, 2016 the NetByNet company announced completion of the transaction on acquisition of the telecom operator of Atlant Telecom[1].
We intend to continue strengthening of the positions in the B2B-market in Moscow both due to purchase of assets, and due to construction and development of own network. Atlant Telecom is interesting to us in terms of an exit to new objects of a commercial real estate of a class B in Moscow. |
Transaction amount the companies does not reveal.
Earlier 100% of authorized capital of Atlant-Telekoma belonged to the CEO of the company Alexander to Croc. According to Timur Nigmatullin, the financial analyst of Finam group, asset cost most likely does not exceed several hundred millions of rubles.
In my opinion, rather high M&A-активность NetByNet is caused by the aspiration of the operator to increase a market share in the Moscow region. In particular, thus, the MegaFon company, parent for NetByNet, will have an opportunity for improvement of a line of B2C-and B2B-rates by means of providing packets of convergent communication services with a low indicator of outflow, characteristic of them. Decrease in outflow becomes especially relevant against the background of gain of the competition in the region in process of appearance of new large players. By itself, development of broadband access asset is interesting to MegaFon and in terms of optimization of infrastructure of base stations. For example, due to fall forward of data transmission by means of their connection on optical fiber". Timur Nigmatullin
