The Alphabet system is the federal system of distribution of electronic textbooks.

The Alphabet platform is the organizational and technical environment providing transactions with electronic textbooks, protection, delivery and management of them on mobile devices.

The Azbuka company is an operator of a system of distribution, interacts with publishing houses, governing bodies of education, educational institutions, teachers, pupils and producers of a computer hardware.

Our mission - to create such environment using modern technical means and technologies, for interaction of authors, publishers, state bodies, educational institutions, teachers and pupils, thanks to which the electronic textbook will become the same organic part of educational process, what became so usual to us the paper book a century ago.

History

The Azbuka company is a developer and the operator of a system of distribution of electronic textbooks which allows schools and governing bodies of education to purchase electronic textbooks at publishing houses, including, "grifovanny" and to distribute among pupils.

"Alphabet" - one of participants of the federal project "Approbation of Different Types of the Interactive Multimedia Electronic Textbooks (IMET) in Educational Institutions of a Number of the Subjects of the Russian Federation", the carried-out FGAU FIRO in 2011-2012. "Alphabet" is also a partner of companies Intel, Samsung, Hewlett Packard in educational projects.

2013

In December, 2012 the agreement between Azbuka company and FGAU FIRO on implementation of the Russia's first project of a federal system of protection and distribution of electronic educational content based on the organizational and technical Alphabet environment is signed.

2015

the Russian aggregator of electronic content enters the market of a world education system

On March 19, 2015 it became known of the negotiations on cooperation with companies Discovery Education, Blackboard completed with Alphabet and others.

Nukri Basharuli, the head of Alphabet visited Washington in March, 2015. The visit took place by the invitation of the international non-profit educational organization American Councils which is engaged in development of education around the world and helps to establish business contacts to the most profile companies from the different countries.

The companies reached the agreement on cooperation during the meeting with Alex Morrison by the vice president of Discovery Education - supplier company of electronic textbooks and other educational content.

Discovery Education is interested in distribution of licenses and content using new development of Azbuka company - an automated system of distribution of content of Agregion which will give the chance to other distributors and libraries connected to a system to sell Discovery Education products demanded at schools on all planet including video records, interactive applications and other electronic educational solutions. Alex Morrison emphasized that very important factor for work with Agregion is control over content at all stages of its distribution which is exercised using a system.

"Alphabet" invited to become the participant of the affiliate program of the educational Blackboard platform, services and which solutions more than 19 thousand schools and 20 million pupils on the world use. Wren Satterley, the senior manager of the company on partnership and the vice president of Blackboard Jim Hermens showed interest in integration with Agregion that will give to universities worldwide the chance to purchase content directly from the created system. In plans of the companies - study of issues of integration.

Nukri Basharuli visited two accelerators, very popular in the USA, including, educational, projects - Betamore Accelerator and Emerging Technology Centers. During the trip the presentation of residents of accelerators took place, there took place discussions about the future of informatization of education.

The founder of Alphabet told foreign colleagues about what conditions in Russia are created for development of startups as there was Alphabet and, how the idea of the platform for electronic textbooks extended to more global Agregion which prepares for entry into the broad market now.

A desire to keep development of Agregion was expressed by Nasir Qadree, the senior partner of Village Capital. This company is engaged in financing of entrepreneurial initiatives, and from the moment of the beginning of work supported more than 300 initiatives on all continents. Projects in which made investments of Village Capital have turnover more than 30 million dollars at present, their opening created more than 5 thousand jobs, and clients are more than 4 million people.

The vice president of educational division and Brendan Desetti the program manager of Education Technology Industry Network, association which represents and supports developers of educational applications, digital content and other, connected with electronic education technologies highly appreciated the idea of a uniform processing center of Karen Billings. Experts plan cooperation with the Russian company, and invited Alphabet to participation in a large action - Education Industry Summit-2015, in May, in San Francisco.

300 New Horizons Computer Learning Centers education centers train people in 50 countries of the world, and at present transition from the printed training materials for electronic for this company - a question of survival in the market. Many divisions are located in the countries with badly developed electronic infrastructure (Liberia, Bangladesh, Cambodia and td) therefore the company management is extremely interested in that using Agregion to get uniform access to content of the third-party companies for all branches and an opportunity to extend own.
