2022: Searches
In April 2022, FSB officers came to the company's office and seized documents and hard drives related to the consulting company Bain & Company. The documents are related to the Department of Marketing, Strategy and Quality of Aeroflot Products. This department was previously headed by the former deputy general director of Aeroflot Andrey Panov, who left Russia.

The American publication Huffington Post in October 2012 published an investigation into which Bain & Co. in the early 1990s - led by future US presidential candidate Mitt Romney - was extremely active in Russia and brought American tobacco brands to the Russian market. According to Huffington Post, the amount of the contract for the services of the Russian government consulting on privatization was $3.9 million[1]
