Cancellation of the license

On August 21, 2020 the Central Bank of Russia issued the order on cancellation of a license for banking operations at the Moscow credit institution "Slavic credit" which took the 287th place in a banking system of the Russian Federation.

The petition of credit institution sent to the Bank of Russia in connection with the decision of a general meeting of participants on its voluntary liquidation, says the regulator formed the basis for cancellation of the license at LLC CB Slavyansky credit.

According to the statement of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, "The Slavic credit" locates sufficient property for meeting requirements of creditors, also it is a participant of deposit insurance system.

The Central Bank cancelled the license of Slavic Credit bank

In bank liquidation commission will be appointed. Payments of an insurance indemnity to bank depositors will begin no later than September 4, 2020. Agent banks for settlings with investors will be selected on a competitive basis till August 27.

As reported in Deposit Insurance Agency, the insurance indemnity is paid in the amount of 100% of the amount of all accounts (deposits) of the client, but no more than 1.4 million rubles in total. In foreign currency the compensation amount is calculated for bank accounts in rubles at the rate of the Central Bank on the date of a loss occurrence.

Earlier the RAEX rating agency confirmed the rating of ruv-concerning "The Slavic credit" and saved the negative outlook for rating that assumes a high probability of its decrease in the medium term.

The rating is caused by weak assessment of market positions and low operational efficiency, an adequate position on the capital and low quality of assets, a satisfactory liquid position and also conservative quality evaluation of corporate management — it was said in the statement of the agency.[1]

1999: Obtaining general license of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation
