As it became known on February 2, 2022, a resident of Belgorod, who lost her lung through the fault of an oncologic dispensary, sued 1 million rubles from a medical institution. Details of the case were reported by the prosecutor's office of the Belgorod region.

They said that the woman turned to the Belgorod Oncological Dispensary with complaints of difficulty breathing. She was diagnosed: "Suspicion of an oncological lesion of the lung," in connection with which an operation was carried out to remove the lung. In the study of biological material, a different diagnosis was established, which showed that there was no malignant tumor.

As a result of an incorrectly diagnosed diagnosis, the woman lost a vital organ and became disabled, which is qualified by experts as causing grievous bodily harm, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office reports.

As a result, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Belgorod recovered 1 million rubles from the oncological dispensary in favor of the victim as compensation for non-pecuniary damage caused as a result of poor-quality medical care.

Social networks write that this is not the first case of an incorrect diagnosis in the Belgorod Cancer Clinic.

A year ago, my stepfather miraculously managed to avoid the same fate! They were diagnosed with a tumor in the lung from the picture, they did not like the darkening. Sent for removal operation. Passing the commission before the operation, one of the doctors asked: who even told you that you had a tumor?!! In short, the operation was canceled. The situation is just a nightmare!
