2024: Transition to the perimeter of the Tractor Plants concern

Bryansk plant "Transmashholding" (TMH) - JSC "Production Association" Bezhitskaya Steel "- officially became part of the concern" Tractor Plants "(KTZ). According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the changes entered into force on June 13, 2024, when Aktiv LLC became the sole shareholder of Bezhitskaya Steel.

According to Interfax, Bezhitskaya Steel will be integrated with the KTZ Promlit plant, which will strengthen production capacities and improve product quality. TMH noted that this association will provide a synergistic effect and an increase in the production of steel machine-building and railway casting. According to Natalia Kharlanova, director of the Volga branch of the RAD, the deal to acquire Bezhitskaya Steel has become the largest in the region recently in the segment of selling private assets. The plant, built and launched in 2021, will continue to produce products for the needs of mechanical engineering, not only preserving the revenue volumes of previous years, but also increasing it by 12.5% in 2024, said the Governor of the Bryansk Region Alexander Bogomaz.

According to the newspaper, the production facilities of Bezhitskaya Steel allow the production of up to 60 thousand tons of casting per year, more than 300 products. The plant actively participated in the intercompany cooperation of TMH, supplying foundry products for the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant, Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant and Demikhov Machine-Building Plant. In 2023, the plant produced 45 thousand tons of casting and reported revenues of 9 billion rubles, which is 9% higher than in 2022.^[1][2]
