In addition to release of 14 models of the logging equipment, the Onega Tractor Plant LLC company is going to develop serial production of modern import-substituting wheel and caterpillar complexes of the logging equipment on the platform in Karelia:

• caterpillar equipment for hlystovy procurement of the wood: 25 modifications of track laying vehicles of the Onezhets-300 and Onezhets-400 families, the auxiliary caterpillar equipment for the logging industry of "Onezhets-500" and modifications on its basis;
• the technology complex for assortment procurement of the wood based on wheel chassis 6x6 and 8x8 provided by two basic models – a harvester and a forwarder. And also skidder (paketopodborshchik; wheel base 4х4);
• a technology complex for mixed (hlystovy and assortment) wood procurement of "Onezhets-700" based on the caterpillar chassis with the different technology equipment consisting of the feller-bunching machine, the suchkorezno-cross-cutting machine, the caterpillar logger.

The investment project provides production of the equipment for hlystovy and assortment wood procurement. Hlystova is called wood procurement at which movement of the cut trees on a felling area and their removal is made in the form of switches (the tumbled-down tree trunk without branches), without sawing on assortments (the same parts of a sawn timber). At assortment procurement on site logging do assortments which then are exported of switches.

Within the project it is also going to master production of key components of end products: harvesterny heads (in 2014 import – 100%), hydrostatic transmissions (there are no analogs in the Russian Federation), diesel engines (an import share in a segment of tractor engines – 78%).

It is going to borrow by 2019 to 26% of the Russian market of the caterpillar logging equipment (at the same time the share of import will decrease from 39% to 28% of the market), up to 35% of the market of track laying satellite transport vehicles for forestry and up to 51% of the market of the wheel equipment for forestry.

The loan amount can make 107 million rubles, the total cost of the project of 199.4 million rubles.
