2023: Investment from the government of 15 billion rubles

Biysk Oleum Plant will receive investments in the amount of 15 billion rubles allocated by the Russian government to expand production capabilities. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov during a visit to Altai in August 2023.

The minister visited the plant with Governor Viktor Tomenko. The purpose of the visit was to assess the progress of the investment project for the development of new areas for explosives.

According to him, the enterprise is of strategic importance for Russia. Within the framework of the already allocated state support, the enterprise is undergoing a comprehensive reorganization, which will continue to timely and efficiently fulfill all tasks within the framework of the state defense order, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade noted. He stressed that the reorganization will also allow, if necessary, to increase production to meet the internal need and expand sales markets. The management of the plant spoke about the implementation of an investment project to increase capacity.

Denis Manturov also said that an agreement was reached with the plant management to increase the wages of employees of the enterprise by 30% (by August 2023, the average salary is 43 thousand rubles).

Biysk Oleum Plant has been operating in the industry market of special chemistry since 1965. It specializes in the manufacture of explosives and chemical products. The production of industrial explosive materials was created at the enterprise in the 90s[1]
