Bogoslovsk Aluminium Smelter

The largest producer of alumina in Russia. On aluminum production takes the 6th place among producers of primary aluminum of Russia. The plant more than 30 product names are issued:

• hydroxide of aluminum and alumina,
• primary aluminum,
• anode weight,
• aluminum alloys,
• protectors for protection against corrosion.

BAZ produces 183.4 thousand tons of aluminum and 1078 thousand tons of alumina a year.

Alumina production volume in 2007 — more than 1.1 million tons, aluminum — nearly 189 thousand tons, cost of goods sold — $446.2 million. Investments into modernization of the plant — $51.1 million [3] A7E brand aluminum in 1990 is registered on the London metal exchange under the BAZ brand, and after accession of the plant to JSC Siberian-Urals Aluminium Company became known as "baz-sual" [4]. Production aluminum BAZ is known in the USA and in Europe.
