History

2022: Entering the Armenian market

On May 20, 2022, Button announced its entry into the Armenian market. For the Russian online accounting service, this is the first experience of starting work abroad. At the same time, the companies did not talk about investments in expansion.

Speaking about the reasons that prompted Button to enter the Armenian market, the company noted on May 20, 2022 that in just a month the demand for business registration increased several times in the country.

And we quickly realized that it is very difficult for Russian entrepreneurs to find a common language with the market for such services in Armenia. Entrepreneurs are accustomed to transparent work, to good service and quick reaction to their requests, the service said in a statement.

It also says that most of those who moved to Armenia are IT specialists. In this area there is its own specifics, which the service understands, the company emphasized.

By May 20, 2022, comprehensive accounting services in Armenia for individual entrepreneurs without employees cost 5 thousand rubles per month, for individual entrepreneurs with employees and LLC - 10 thousand rubles.

The service for its users closes all accounting areas: purchase and sale, salary and personnel, loans, currency, tax consultations. The platform generates reports on the basis of transactions on time, entrepreneurs report new contracts and send documents from suppliers. Reports to government agencies are checked and sent by an accountant. All communication takes place within the framework of the application.

"Button" allows the possibility of entering other markets, but by May 20, 2022 the company is not considering such plans. [1]

2016: Achieving self-sufficiency

The resident of the information technology cluster of the Skolkovo Foundation, Button, announced in May 2016 that it had reached self-sufficiency. 2015 was a breakthrough for her: the customer base doubled, and revenue increased threefold compared to May 2015.

2015: Partnership with Skolkovo, 150 employees, 400 companies

At the end of 2015, Button became an accredited partner of Skolkovo Technopark, thanks to which startups using its services can focus on developing their idea and business, and instruct professionals to support the company's activities. All communication with the team takes place remotely, including through a convenient mobile application. All documents can be sent by e-mail.

In May 2015, we had about 150 employees and a little more than 400 companies in service. The numbers did not please: we did not want to endlessly inflate the staff with the growth of the client base. Knopka still has 150 employees, 1,000 customers, and we are ready to connect another 300-500 companies without hiring new people. Such indicators were achieved without increasing the marketing budget and deteriorating the quality of service. But I had to make some difficult decisions

At this time, the company is conducting a management experiment - they abandoned the traditional hierarchical system in favor of holacracy. There are no managers, positions are replaced by "roles," people themselves choose responsibilities for themselves. Having abandoned the army of chiefs, Button decided to save on expensive managers.

2013-2014: Three employees leave SKB Kontur and start the Button service

At the beginning of 2013, Evgeny Kobzev left SKB Kontur with colleagues Anton Sizov and Andrei Zavyalov. Soon they created an online service for entrepreneurs "Button." First, he worked as part of Банка24.ру, and after revoking the license from the bank in the fall of 2014, Button became an independent company.
