Centrum Druku 3D, or CD3D (CD3D Sp. z o.o.) — the Polish website about 3D - printings, started in 2013.

History

2019: Opening of the 3D center - bioprinting

On March 28, 2019 there was information on start by the CD3D portal (Centrum Druku 3D) the 3D center is bioprintings which, according to the statement of representatives of CD3D Sp. z o.o., is one of the largest in Europe.

In Poland one of the largest centers 3D - bioprintings in Europe opened

The newly opened center received the name Open 3D Bioprinting Cluster. It is located in the Polish city of Lodz, in the territory of the research Bionanopark complex in which numerous projects in the field of biotechnologies, chemistry, 3D - printings and medicine are implemented. The 3D center - bioprintings is founded by department of CD3D Medical. It is planned that he will closely cooperate with Laboratory of molecular biophysics and nanoconstructions. In addition to 3D - bioprintings, CD3D Medical offers 3D technologies - printings of SLA, FDM and DMP.

Within the center the cluster from 21 3D - the Skaffosys Lite bioprinter, developed especially for this purpose is created. As a printing head the syringe on 5 ml is used, a system mechanically performs supply of semi-fluid materials, gels and hydrogels on the fixed printing platform. Skaffosys Lite printing field — 170х125х80 mm, and the accuracy of production makes 0.2 mm, at the same time the device can be used as the bioplotter. In the future the CD3D command is going to complement Skaffosys Lite with new features and modules.

Thanks to cooperation of Bionanopark and CD3D Medical it was succeeded to use 3D - bioprinting in research projects in the field of biomedical engineering technologies. Now scientists in laboratories of the Bionanopark complex can conduct biochemical, biological and molecular researches practically on any production stage of three-dimensional constructions.[1]

2014

In 2014 the CD3D portal for the first time in Poland organized delivery of awards in the field of 3D - printing.

2013

In 2013 start of the website which was organized by the command pursuing two main objectives — to distribute information on 3D - printings and to assist researches in the medical and pharmaceutical industry took place.
