2021: Digital Lab Launch

On November 23, 2021, the CDS Group, one of the developers of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, launched CDS Tech, its own digital laboratory for the development and testing of IT solutions for the construction industry. The company's IT department-based laboratory will employ more than 50 IT professionals.

The goal of CDS Tech is to centrally develop high-tech software products for the entire business chain of the construction business: from the design and construction of houses to sales and after-sales service management. As of November 2021, the digital ecosystem of the CDS Group has 15 own developments, which made it possible to automate 100% of all business processes of the company. Over the past three years, the company has invested 300 million rubles in the development of its own software products and ecosystems of the Group, and the financial effect of digitalization of the business has already amounted to 650 million rubles and continues to grow.

The development of CDS Tech is MonSTR, a full-fledged software product patented by the company in 2020, which allows you to record comments from external contractors, monitor the amount of work performed and carry out the acceptance of apartments with tenants. MonSTR completed the next three-month test cycle and in November 2021 the expanded functionality was successfully launched in the CDS. The solution made it possible to change the process of quality control of construction into a paperless form, increase the speed and efficiency of staff communications, minimize bureaucratic delays and double the efficiency of construction control. Due to the implementation of the solution, customer satisfaction with the quality of the delivered objects increased by 40%.

"MonSTR" is a detailed application developed for the needs of construction organizations, more effective in terms of tools and attractive in terms of connection costs than existing analogues on the market. The development attracted the attention of external customers. All work with the system is carried out in real time using a mobile application available for Android and iOS platforms. If necessary, the application switches to offline mode, and specialists can continue to work without connecting to the Internet.

Over the past five years, CDS specialists have done a lot of work on process automation and developed about 15 of their own services. IT grew into a full-fledged business direction that plays a key role in the company's dynamic growth. Services implemented in the CDS save employees a total of more than 1,600 working hours per month, and the productivity of individual departments has more than doubled, "said Mikhail Orlov, director of the information technology department of the CDS Group.

All company developments support the idea of end-to-end automation of business processes, including the functionality of CRM and ERP class systems. All knowledge about the characteristics of the facility, the construction process, material and financial flows, comments, decoration, buyer, acceptance of the apartment and after-sale services are contained in a single ecosystem, which all participants in the process have instant access to.
