History

2019: Renaming to Traffic Management Center

In 2019, the GKU "Weight Control Service of the Republic of Bashkortostan" was entrusted with additional tasks for the automated collection, processing and accumulation of data on traffic parameters, the organization was renamed the State Treasury Institution of the Republic of Bashkortostan "Center for Traffic Management" (GKU RB TsODD).

2017

In 2017, from the GKU RB "Safe Region," functions to ensure the automatic mode of photo and video recording of traffic violations, processing and distribution of decisions were allocated and transferred to the GKU "Weight Control Service of the Republic of Belarus."

2013

As of 2013, the Institution carried out the following activities in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan:

• assistance to the bodies of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Bashkortostan in organizing control and suppression of unauthorized transportation of heavy goods;
• weighing of vehicles carrying heavy cargoes by public roads of regional and inter-municipal significance of the Republic of Bashkortostan for compliance with the established regulatory parameters;
• calculation and compensation of the damage caused during the passage of vehicles carrying heavy cargoes, the total weight of which or the load on each axle exceeds the regulatory parameters, on public roads of the Republic of Bashkortostan of regional and inter-municipal significance;
• coordination of traffic routes of vehicles carrying out transportation of dangerous, large-sized and (or) heavy goods by public roads of the Republic of Bashkortostan of regional and inter-municipal significance;
• issuance of special permits for the movement of vehicles carrying large and (or) heavy cargo by public roads of the Republic of Bashkortostan of regional and inter-municipal importance.
• issuance of permits for the period of temporary, seasonal restriction of movement of vehicles on public roads of the Republic of Bashkortostan of regional and inter-municipal significance and organization of weighing of vehicles for compliance with the established regulatory parameters.

2011: Creation of the Weight Control Service of the Republic of Bashkortostan

In April 2011, the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Transport and Road Facilities decided to initiate the creation of a Weight Control Service in the form of a separate institution, structured the functions, tasks of the institution, substantiated financial and economic feasibility, staffing, developed an organizational structure and Charter. The result was the creation by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2012 of the State State Institution "Weight Control Service of the Republic of Bashkortostan."
