History
2024: Ex-mayor of Novorossiysk co-founded Chateau Pinot winery
In mid-July 2024, it became known that the former mayor of Novorossiysk, Vladimir Sinyagovsky, became one of the founders of the Chateau Pinot winery in the Krasnodar Territory. Its share in the authorized capital of the enterprise is 50%. The second half is owned by Maria the Train, daughter of winery founder Alexander the Train.
The Chateau Pinot winery is located in the southern part of Novorossiysk, on the slopes of Mount Koldun, in the village of Fedotovka. The area of vineyards, as stated on the website of the enterprise, exceeds 140 hectares. All seedlings on the farm from eminent European nurseries are Rauschedo (Italy), Mercier (France) and Truant (Italy). Slopes with different exposures and height difference from 180 to 270 meters above sea level make it possible to produce wines of different styles of high quality from various grape varieties. Harvesting is carried out in several stages and only manually.
The Chateau Pinot plant is located on the mountainside and consists of five levels cascaded from top to bottom. Such a structure allows you to carry out the entire cycle of wine production under gravity, without the use of pumps. It is claimed that for 2024 there are no more than 10 similar wineries in the world.[1]
