The creation and subsequent replication of innovative KPO technologies in the regions will create a unique system for deep processing of MSW, as well as increase the Charter's own efficiency by optimizing technological processes, "said Alexey Kurtishvili, Executive Director of Charter LLC.

The peculiarity of the Tula KPO is that a significant part of the equipment is produced by the Charter company on the territory of the SEZ, Technopolice Moscow which contributes to the implementation of the import substitution program. In the future, it is planned to enter the Russian market for use in other processing complexes.

The commissioning of the KPO in Tula will create more than 500 new jobs and make a significant contribution to achieving the goals of the national project "Ecology." The complex is one of the largest and most technologically advanced facilities of this type in Russia.[1]

2021

In April 2021 Toole , testing of a new waste processing complex began on a specially created experimental site with an area of 42 hectares of one of the branches of the regional operator Charter. As the general director of the company said in an interview, in the Denis Galagan ecotechnopark "" Tula there are high-tech separators, storage areas for recyclable materials, areas for the processing of organic matter, hydraulic separation and contactless polymer splitting. The high-tech miracle was created by the joint efforts of scientists and the leadership of the Charter, which provides a full range of services for the management of municipal solid waste in five constituent entities of the Russian Federation. In fact, these are technologies of the future, allowing to extract useful components to the maximum for subsequent processing and energy generation. And the more such industries, the less anthropogenic impact from the activities of public utilities on the environment.
