2021: Deloitte bought CloudQuest

In early June 2021, Deloitte bought almost all the assets of the American cloud security provider CloudQuest. The financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.

According to CloudQuest co-founder and CEO Vijay Sarati, the merger with Deloitte will allow CloudQuest to expand its capabilities to provide organizations with better protection against next-generation cyber threats, promote continuous innovation and flexibility, and contribute to more effective cloud security capabilities.

In addition to CloudQuest, in January 2021, Deloitte acquired the American provider of advanced services and solutions for the search for cyber threats Root9B in order to expand its offerings for detecting and responding to cyber attacks.^[1]
