Ugolnye innovatsionnye tekhnologii LLC - develops and implements unique technological solutions in coal and the power industries.

Area of interest of the organization: problem solving of the industry regarding processing of bottom-ash waste of TPP and increase in depth of burning of firm fuel materials on power stations.

2014

Production in Kashira

On November 10, 2014 the Coal Innovative Technologies company announced creation of trial production of the silicate microsphere in the city of Kashira.

The enterprise is focused on production of the silicate microsphere held for use as filler in chemical industry, automotive industry, construction, the oil and gas industry and other industries.

Silicate microspheres represent small hollow spheres with thick walls from 1 to 200 micron in size and with a specific weight of 2 - 2.2 g/cm3, selected from dry ashes ablation.

At the heart of the innovative technology developed by UIT company hi-tech processing of bottom-ash waste with receiving commercially valuable product (silicate microspheres) which extraction and processing creates considerable added value lies.

The new enterprise of UIT company, along with production of demanded, import-substituting products, will increase the level of utilization of bottom-ash waste in Russia that is - will help with the solution of an environmental problem of environmental pollution by technogenic waste.

The microspheres made by UIT company according to the quality characteristics exceed import analogs thanks to the fact that in their structure there are practically no destroyed components. At the same time the cost of products of the new enterprise is much lower than the cost of import synthetic fillers that leads to decrease in cost value of finished goods and a sure economic benefit for consumers.

Mikhail Romanenko, the CEO of Ugolnye innovatsionnye tekhnologii LLC, noted: "Using the silicate microsphere developed by the UIT command, the Russian industrial enterprises will be able to offer the clients new products with the improved consumer properties, to come to new market niches and to increase stability of the business, diversifying risk of dependence on import raw materials".
Dmitry Lopukhin, the project manager told: "The enterprise in the city of Kashira works at waste of Kashira GRES (entering into the Inter RAO Group). As a result of its activity more than 6 million tons of bottom-ash waste are saved up and every year 120 thousand tons of ashes of hydroremoval in addition form. On our production site we are going to process about 175 thousand cindery waste a year that will allow to liquidate their deposits gradually. Our strategic partner is the Energy without Borders Fund together with which we created "Scientific center of bottom-ash materials". The center will be engaged in application studies and the innovative developments in the power industry".
"The production started in Kashira is pilot. After working off of a steady business model, we are going to replicate the project and in other regions of the Russian Federation where the scope of processing of bottom-ash waste is relevant. Today the new enterprise already has the first customer on products - the Canadian firm "AYKAT". According to the contract the first trial delivery of microspheres of CIT-2240 is planned until the end of the year of 40 tons", - Oleg Dyachenko, the board member of UK Sberinvest Ltd reported.
