The Committee for Culture and Tourism of the Leningrad Region is a branch executive body of the Leningrad Region, which is part of the Administration of the Leningrad Region, carrying out state regulation in the field of culture and tourism in the Leningrad Region.
History
2020: Abolition of the Leningrad Oblast Committee on Tourism
In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Leningrad Region dated December 21, 2020 No. 839 "On Executive Authorities of the Leningrad Region in the Field of Culture and Tourism," the Committee of the Leningrad Region on Tourism was abolished. From January 1, 2021, the powers and functions in the field of state regulation of tourist activities in the Leningrad Region are entrusted to the Committee on Culture and Tourism of the Leningrad Region.
