The Composites of Russia Scientific and Educational Center is a structural unit of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, created on June 15, 2011 to assist in the development, production and commercialization of high-tech solutions of the university in the field of new materials and information technologies, the formation of a scientific reserve and modern educational technologies and programs.

2023: Withdrawal from the authorized capital of Baum-Inform LLC
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, from December 29, 2023, the Inter-Industry Engineering Center of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University has withdrawn from the authorized capital of Baum-Inform LLC.
2014
According to information for 2014, MIC "NMKN" - Intersectoral Engineering Center "New Materials, Composites and Nanotechnology" MVTU named after N.E. Bauman - the leading engineering center of the Russian Federation in the field of development of composite materials and products based on them. The center implements a "closed cycle" of engineering services from the development of new materials and technologies for their processing to the design and production of products based on them in the main production industries, including transport, construction, energy, oil and gas, petrochemical and biomedicine industries.
