Department of Administrative Bodies of the Magadan Region

The Department of Administrative Bodies of the Magadan Region is the authorized executive body of the Magadan Region in the areas of material, technical, organizational and personnel support for the activities of magistrates of the Magadan Region; organization of activities for state registration of civil status acts in the territory of the Magadan region; providing citizens with free legal assistance in the territory of the Magadan region; state administration of archival businesses in the territory of the Magadan region. The department implements functions in the field of providing citizens with free legal assistance in the territory of the Magadan region, to ensure the activities of the Government of the Magadan Region to draw up a general and reserve list of candidates for jurors in accordance with federal law, provides organizational and technical support for the activities of the Pardon Commission formed in the territory of the Magadan Region, monitors the collection and analysis of reports on the implementation of transferred state powers in the field of administrative offenses of administrative commissions of local self-government bodies of urban districts of the Magadan Region.

As of August 2022, the Department includes:

• the department for ensuring the activities of justices of the peace;
• Civil Registry Department;
• archival department;
• administrative and legal department.
