Department of Culture of the Kurgan Region

The Department of Culture of the Kurgan Region is an executive body state that Kurgan region carries out sectoral or intersectoral management in the field cultures and in the arts region Kurganskaya. The department carries out its activities in cooperation with other executive authorities of the Kurgan region, local governments, municipal cultural institutions, public associations, foundations and other organizations of the Kurgan region. The main tasks of the Department are:

• ensuring conditions for the realization of the constitutional rights of citizens to participate in cultural life and use the services of cultural organizations, access to cultural values;
• creating conditions for the development of creative personality and collective in the field of culture;
• ensuring optimal use of the cultural potential of the Kurgan region, creating conditions for its preservation and development;
• promoting the development and cooperation of cultural organizations of various forms of ownership, creative unions, associations, foundations, and other public associations.
