Department of Digital Development of the Vologda Oblast

The Department of Digital Development of the Vologda Region is the body of the executive state power of the region, exercising powers (functions) in the field of informatization of the region and in the provision of communication services in the region (Regulation on the Department of Digital Development of the Vologda Region approved by Decree of the Government of the Region of December 13, 2021 No. 1395).

History

2022: Education of the Department of Digital Development of the Vologda Oblast

From January 1, 2022, on the basis of the Committee of Information Technologies and Telecommunications of the region, the Department of Digital Development of the Vologda Region was formed^[1].

2018: New Chairman - Irina Prosviryakova

In July 2018, Irina Prosviryakova was appointed chairman of the Committee of Information Technologies and Telecommunications of the Vologda Region. Read more here.

2010: Activities of the Vologda Oblast Information Technology and Telecommunications Committee

The Committee of Information Technologies and Telecommunications of the Vologda Oblast acted on the basis of Decree of the Government of the Vologda Oblast dated September 27, 2010 No. 1105.

The main tasks of the committee were:

• ensuring the implementation of regional state policy in the field of information technology and communications, including the determination of directions and measures for the development of the information society and the formation of e-government in the field;
• organization of effective interaction and coordination of the activities of the executive state authorities of the region on informatization and development of telecommunications of the region;
• ensuring the implementation of the powers of the executive state authorities of the region in the field of communication services;
• technological provision of posting information on the activities of the regional governor, the regional government, executive state authorities of the region, socio-economic development of the region by means of modern presentation and Internet technologies.
