The Department of Digital Development of the Voronezh Region (formerly the Department of Communications and Mass Communications of the Voronezh Region) is the executive body of state power of the Voronezh Region, authorized in the field of the development and implementation of state policy in the field of digital development, information technology and communications in the Voronezh Region.
The abbreviated name of the department is DCR VO.
History
2021: The new head of the department - Denis Volkov
In February 2021, the governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, signed a decree appointing Denis Volkov to the post of head of the region's digital development department, the regional government portal said. Volkov's term is limited to Gusev's term. More details here.
2020: Creation of a unit for public data management
On September 9, 2020, the Department of Digital Development of the Voronezh Region announced the creation of a department for managing state data in the region. The new unit is intended for reengineering the internal interaction of the executive bodies of the state government of the region in order to provide citizens and business with high-quality services and services, the government portal of the Voronezh region reports.
The Department of Digital Development of the Voronezh Region expects, at the expense of the created department, to ensure a reduction in transaction costs when moving from "on paper" management to data-based management.
The tasks of the department include the construction of a regional data management system (RSUD), which will combine the disparate information resources of the authorities into a single information space of the region.
Each newly created information system should be connected to the RSUD and provide state bodies with legally significant information sufficient to provide services without additional "paper" requests.
As noted in the regional government, the project to create a regional data management system, the Department of Digital Development of the Voronezh Region was among the finalists of the Project Olympus competition held by the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.
By September 9, 2020, work is underway to build industry storefronts of state data, which will exclude requests for the same type of information, and quickly receive analytical data sections.
In addition, the creation of a single digital platform has begun. It is planned to be implemented using the existing regional interagency cooperation systems (SMEV), which should provide access to services and state data in a single window mode[1]
2019: Change of name
On January 1, 2019, the Department of Communications and Mass Communications of the Voronezh Region changed its name to the Department of Digital Development of the Voronezh Region according to the Decree of the Governor of the Voronezh Region dated 12.12.2018 No. 733-u "On Optimizing the Structure of Executive Bodies of State Power of the Voronezh Region[2]"
