History

2016: In court because of piracy CMS

The Moscow City Court granted three applications of Diafan company concerning the websites which are illegally using the system belonging to the company content management (CMS).

It is about the websites of Colosseum construction company (kolizeystroy.ru), the Belarusian cargo carrier of Arlyk (arluk.by) and the Abkhazian bureau of aviatravel of Abkhazavia (abhazavia.ru)^[1].

As provisional interim measures the Moscow City Court obliged these resources to stop illegal use of the Diafan.CMS 5 program.

Now owners of these websites have three days for the termination of illegal use of Diafan CMS, otherwise Roskomnadzor will block them access from the territory of Russia.

Diafan requires observance of the rights, the company executive Dmitry Afanasyev explained CNews. "We act according to the logical and fair scheme: we find the website working at our system, we send the letter with a request to purchase the license and to work further or to delete from the website Diafan.CMS, - Afanasyev says. - If the owner does not react (such a little), we send a request to a hosting to influence owners of the website. If the hosting does not react (such even less), we submit a claim to Moscow City Court".
