Digital October of Digital October Center

The Digital October center is the meeting place of professionals of technology community. Activity of the center is focused around two main directions: new technologies and technology entrepreneurship.

Assets

Digital October is located in the center of Moscow, in the territory of the former factory "Red October" on the area about 10 thousand square meters, and includes training center, conference rooms, exhibition facilities, business incubator, offices, meeting rooms, a recreational zone for business and creative communication.

History

2012: Center of web broadcast of Russian presidential elections

Digital October was the center of the organization of web broadcast of presidential elections in 2012 - the Telemarker company acting as the co-owner of Digital October was responsible for its technical broadcasting.

2011: Visits of the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev

Digital October in the stay by the President of Russia was visited by Dmitry Medvedev, holding meetings with supporters, commission sessions on upgrade and the board of trustees of Skolkovo Foundation there and visiting the Dozhd TV channel which was located in the same place.

2010: Mikhail Abyzov's structures create Digital October

Task of the Digital October center created at the end of 2010 by the RU-COM group, Bright Capital venture fund of Mikhail Abyzov and Telemarker company - to promote development industry hi-tech in Russia and to create conditions for successful integration of the Russian technology companies into global market. Was declared that the total volume of investments into hi-tech venture projects based on Digital October and also in cooperation with Digital October, will be over $300 million.
