The company was established in 1999 - ERIELL Corporation s.r.o. in Prague.

1999-2003 - supply of drilling equipment and materials, provision of services for oil and gas companies.

2004 - Signing of the first drilling contract in Uzbekistan. Start of the first drilling rig.

2004-2007 - ERIELL becomes the leader of the drilling services market in Uzbekistan.

2007 - Diversification of drilling services (grouting, mud, directional drilling, etc.)

2008 - 2010 - Increase of drilling rig fleet. Access to the oilfield service market of the Russian Federation. Signing major contracts with leading Russian oil and gas companies. Implementation of projects in Turkmenistan and Libya.

2011 - 2012 - Entry into new markets: Bulgaria, Bangladesh. Russia is becoming a key market for the Group's development.

Activities of the company

ERIELL Group specializes in exploration, production drilling and workover of oil and gas wells, provides turnkey and daily rate services:

• Exploratory drilling (provision of drilling rigs and equipment, construction of a drilling site, utilities, derrick operations, drilling of exploratory wells up to 7000 meters deep and their testing)
• Production drilling (drilling of vertical, directional and horizontal wells, cluster and multi-borehole drilling, development and commissioning of production wells)
• Casing and Liner Cementing Services
• Well servicing (sidetracking from previously drilled wells, intensification of well flow due to re-perforation and salt-acid treatment, elimination of leaks and repair of the production string, workover, suspension and abandonment of wells, well development and testing)
• Service works by a tubing unit during well workover, impact on the bottomhole zone, and other works
• Service works of nitrogen compressor unit
• Core sampling
• Works on construction of booster compressor stations and field development.

History

2023: MetalSeverStroy bought Russian subsidiary Eriell

President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that allows the Eriell oilfield service group to sell its Russian business to MetalSeverStroy. The corresponding document was published on the official portal of legal information at the end of July 2023.

Allow MetalSeverStroy Limited Liability Company to carry out transactions to acquire: a) 100 percent of shares in the authorized capital of Eriell Management Limited Liability Company owned by Eriell Holding Company Limited; b) 99.99 percent of the shares in the authorized capital of limited liability company Energy of Oil and Gas Service, owned by Eriell Holding Company Limited, and 0.01 percent of the shares in the authorized capital of the specified company owned by Eriell GmbH, - said in the decree.

MetalSeverStroy bought the Russian business of the oilfield service company Eriell

By July 2023, Eriell is providing well construction and workover services to leading oil and gas companies in Central and South Asia and the Middle East. It has been working on the Russian market since 2008 through a subsidiary, Energia Neftegazservice (until March 2023, Eriell Neftegazservice). According to the company's website, it has more than 12,000 employees on staff and over 4,000 wells built. Eriell's roots are in Uzbekistan: the company's first contract was signed there in 2004 with Uzbneftegaz.

As Kommersant writes on July 27, 2023, MetalnorthStroy is controlled by businessman Alexei Lukeev (99%). He was a minority shareholder and head of Energy Oil and Gas Service in the first months after its founding. The share of 1% belongs to Vladimir Lukeev, the former deputy general director of Energia Oil and Gas Service LLC.
