All-Russian Children's Center "Eaglet" is a Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution operating on the basis of the legislation of the Russian Federation and its own Charter, licensed to conduct educational activities. VDC "Eaglet" is a legal entity, has an independent balance sheet and separate property.

All-Russian Children's Center "Eaglet" - Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution for Children and Adolescents 11-16 years old. The Eagle began in July 1960 with a tent camp, which spread its tents near the blue sea. It now consists of eight basic children's camps. Four of them: "Swift," "Star," "Storm" and "Solnechny" work year-round, "Komsomolsky," "Sentinel," "Olympic" and "Olympic Village" - in the summer. In each camp, author's and specialized pedagogical programs of the federal and regional levels are implemented. During the year, "Eaglet" receives more than 20 thousand children from all regions of the Russian Federation, far and near abroad countries. At the same time, three and a half thousand children can relax in the Center in summer and one and a half thousand in winter.

In 2012, the All-Russian Children's Center was awarded the status of "UNESCO Associated School."

History

2023: Vladimir Kolbin - new co-owner

At the end of December 2023, it became known that entrepreneur Vladimir Kolbin, Gennady Timchenko's partner in the wine business, became a co-owner of the Orlenok children's health center near Gelendzhik. It is planned to create a large premium-level hotel complex on the site of this facility.

According to the Kommersant newspaper, Kolbin received a 15 percent stake in DOTS Orlenok LLC. The Krasnodar Direct Investment Fund of Housing and Communal Services (FPI Housing and Communal Services; share of 45%) and Elena Bagirova (10%). The remaining 30% belongs to Alexander Spasov, who manages the SZ Dombai-2 LLC, controlled by the FPI Housing and Communal Services.

As of the end of 2023, the Orlenok Children's Center rents two plots of 4.6 hectares in the village of Kabardinka near Gelendzhik. Their cadastral value is 100.6 million rubles. At the same time, according to Spasov, "the children's center is only a marketing name invented by the former owner." According to him, in reality "there was no camp here, information has been checked since the 1950s." In particular, on the territory of "Eaglet" there is a recreation center "Eco-resort South," which occupies two buildings.

It is known that Kolbin, together with partners, intends to build a five-star hotel complex with 979 rooms on the basis of Orlenka. To manage the project, the Turkish operator River Rock, which previously developed in Russia, Rixos Hotels, will be involved. The financing of the project, according to the Kommersant newspaper, can be taken over by Дом.РФ Bank, which has pledged shares of all new owners of Orlenka. Managing partner of Ivashkevich Hospitality Stanislav Ivashkevich estimates the value of Orlenka's property at 181-271 million rubles, while the construction of a new hotel complex can cost 18 billion rubles.[1]

2016: SAP will open an innovation zone on the territory of the All-Russian Children's Center "Eaglet"

SAP CIS will open an innovation zone on the territory of the All-Russian Children's Center "Eaglet." The company signed a memorandum of cooperation on September 30, 2016 at the Sochi-2016 International Investment Forum.

Training at the SAP Innovation Center will take place under the Digital Enterprise of the Future program. Its goal is to transfer knowledge about advanced world developments, develop the necessary professional skills, stimulate the interest of schoolchildren in the basics of design thinking, independently study technologies and create samples and prototypes in the field of IT. The program is intended for schoolchildren 10-17 years old.

"We are interested in creating an innovation zone on the territory of the VDC, which will enable children to access information resources, work with the latest software, get acquainted with advanced developments and increase the level of education in the field of IT, which is especially important in the era of rapidly developing technologies," said Andrey Melyakov, First Deputy Director of the All-Russian Children's Center "Eaglet."

It is planned that more than 20 thousand children from all regions of the Russian Federation, countries of near and far abroad will undergo training in a year.
