2024: The first complex in Russia for the processing of solid municipal waste of the full cycle was launched. 11.7 billion rubles invested in it
On April 19, 2024, the Moscow Region opened the largest plastic processing plant in Russia, EcoLine-Vtorplast, and an enterprise for the production of finished products from the EcoPlast secondary pellet of the EcoLine group. Investments in the project amounted to 11.7 billion rubles, of which 2.9 billion rubles - federal funding. Read more here.
2019: Purchase of competitor "MCM-Logistics"
In July 2019, it became known that the son of Sberbank CEO Oleg Gref and the sons of the former head of Vnesheconombank Dmitriyev sold the capital's garbage operator MCM-Logistics. In addition to them, the company was owned by the family of Alexander Chigirinsky.
The company was bought by co-owners of the capital's garbage operator Ecoline (the top 4 garbage operators of the Trash economy rating).
Revenue of Ecoline in 2017 - 2.3 billion rubles, MCM-Logistics - 2.4 billion rubles.
Ecoline and MCM-Logistics are competitors. In 2012-2014. they won a competition for servicing the residential sector in several districts of Moscow at once. Ecoline takes out garbage from apartment buildings in the Central and Northern districts, MCM-Logistics operates in the West and South-West of the city.
