2025: IEK Group bought Embiot
IEK Group announced the acquisition of Embiot, a developer of complex solutions in the industrial Internet of Things. The deal, announced on June 16, 2025, will allow the holding to expand its product line by integrating IoT technologies and strengthen its position in the digital automation market.
According to the press service of IEK Group, the acquired company specializes in creating solutions for the industrial Internet of Things, smart cities, smart power supply points and smart supports for urban lighting. The deal is aimed at implementing a strategy for the development of digital competencies and strengthening positions in the industrial automation market.
Vladimir Olkhov, head of the Automation strategic business unit of IEK Group, noted that Embiot's integration into the company's ecosystem develops digital competencies and opens up new opportunities for creating complex solutions. The products of the acquired company can be integrated into MasterBMS - configurator for creating finished MasterSCADA 4D projects.
Smart lighting systems combined with lighting fixtures and process automation equipment from IEK will create a comprehensive proposal for lighting industrial and infrastructure facilities. Such integration expands the company's capabilities in the field of digitalization and automation.
