Enter response to COVID-19

As part of a nationwide effort to combat the pandemic, Enter built a specialized multidisciplinary medical complex for patients with COVID-19.

The complex, located in the Zangiatinsky district of Tashkent region, can receive 5,000 patients. It consists of five separate buildings with wards, an intensive care unit and a surgical department. The construction was completed in just three months, indicating the effectiveness of Enter and the national importance of the project.

GTL project

During the year, significant work was carried out on the GTL project in Uzbekistan, which was completed by 95%. The project is one of the most capital-intensive investment projects in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, and its total value is 3.6 billion US dollars. During 2020:

  • 10,000 tons of steel structures have been installed;
  • 1.94 million meters of cable were laid;
  • Welding and installation works were performed on 450,000 dia-inch pipelines;
  • Installation of large process equipment has been completed; and
  • At the peak of activity, more than 12,000 specialists and 800 pieces of equipment are involved.

Construction and installation works are completed and finishing and testing work begins. Project general contractors: Enter, Hyundai Engineering and Hyundai Engineering & Construction are working on equipment commissioning. More than 9,500 people continue to work on the site.

Samarkand Airport and Samarkand Tourist Centre

In March 2020, work began on the reconstruction of Samarkand Airport, including the reconstruction of the runway, the expansion of aircraft parking sites and the modernization of the airport's radar systems. The Samarkand Tourist Centre is also under construction. This large tourist complex with an area of ​ ​ 360 hectares is intended for domestic and international tourism. It is expected that next year a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held here.

Both projects are of state importance and contribute to the expansion of tourism and transport infrastructure in Uzbekistan.

JSC Navoiazot

The construction of the new plant of Navoiazot OJSC is almost completed. Thanks to the additional production capacity of ammonia and carbamide, this enterprise is of national importance. The plant will introduce modern energy-saving technologies. The completion of the construction will satisfy the domestic demand for agriculture carbamide and provide additional mineral fertilizers for grain and cotton crops. Products will also be exported to neighbouring Central Asian countries and beyond. Licensors include the Danish Haldor Topsoe (ammonia), the Italian Saipem (synthesis) the German , and Uhde Fertilizer Technology (granulation). In December 2020, a ceremony was held to launch a new plant for the production of PVC, caustic soda and methanol. At the end of the construction of the plant, 900 new jobs were created.


Additional projects

In 2020, eight projects were launched, including the construction of the Uchkyr booster compressor station. The completion of the project will increase the daily production of natural gas to 2.0 million m3/day. In 2021, Enter Group was involved in 11 active projects, two of which were successfully commissioned.

The construction of the Alan booster compressor station was quickly completed in March 2021, adding 1 million m3 of daily gas production from the Alan gas field in the Mirishkar district of Kashkadarya region. Modern gas turbine equipment and compressors were delivered by leading foreign companies, including: Baker Hughes, General Electric (USA), Motorsich (Ukraine), Akcelik (Turkey) and Denair Energy (China ).

The construction of the Zevardy booster compressor station was completed in April 2021 and became a company record. From the first steps to the commissioning of the project, only six months have passed. Despite the pandemic, the project was also completed without any delay - evidence of the hard work of the Group's workers. The station will increase daily gas production at the Zevardy field by 1.8 million m3.
