History
2010: Introduction to the "Estare" observation procedure
In February 2010, at the suit of Petrokommerts Bank for bankruptcy, the Moscow Arbitration Court introduced a monitoring procedure at Estara.
2009: Filing for Bankruptcy
During the economic crisis of 2008-2010, the company faced significant financial difficulties.
In early November 2009, the Estar group of metallurgical companies filed a bankruptcy petition with the Moscow Arbitration Court.
The total debt of the holding is approximately $1 billion. A little earlier, Petrokommerts Bank asked to declare the company bankrupt: its lawsuit was brought following the decision of the Moscow arbitration to recover 1.317 billion rubles from Estar in favor of the bank[1]
2006: Production of 992.6 thousand tons of metal products
In 2006, Estara enterprises produced 992,640 tons of metal products. The company's revenue in 2005 is about 23 billion rubles, net profit - 2.9 billion rubles.[2]
