The development partner of the center is also Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev. There, at the specialized department, specialists will be trained to work in the center of biotechnology. Other details of the project - the specification of funding sources, the planned production capacity and the nomenclature of drugs, the format of participation in the project of each of the partners - the parties did not disclose by November 8, 2023.

According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, biotechnological drugs are considered the most effective way to treat a wide range of diseases. The priority task in the production of such drugs is to ensure independence from foreign raw materials. It is for this that the Federal Center for the Development of Biotechnology was created in Mordovia.[1]
