Formlabs releases such products as Form 3, Form 3B and Form 3L working at a basis of Low Force Stereolithography (LFS) technology ™, the stereolithographic Form 2 3D printer, devices for post-processing of Form Wash and Form Cure, the Fuse 1 3D printer on the basis of SLS technology and the production solution of Form Cell.
The use of a variety of printers and materials for printing by the company allows users from industries such as healthcare, dentistry, industry, engineering, education, jewelry, audio and entertainment, to increase the speed of innovation and reduce costs.
2021: Formlabs raised $150 million in Series E funding round and increased capitalization to $2 billion
On May 20, 2021 the Formlabs company, the developer and the producer of technologies of 3D printing, declared attraction of 150 million dollars within financing of series E. The round headed SoftBank Vision Fund [1] doubling the company's valuation to $2 billion. Formlabs plans to use the funds to further develop its portfolio of 3D printing solutions, which provide more mass production and castomization. Including the company expects to expand its team in seven offices around the world.
2011: Foundation of the company
The company was founded in 2011 by a group of designers and engineers at the Media Lab faculty of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
