2024: Revenue growth by 12.6% to RUB 7.5 billion
In 2024, the combined network Formula Kino and Cinema Park recorded revenues of 7.47 billion rubles. This is 12.6% more than in the previous year, when the figure was 6.64 billion rubles. Such data are reflected in the financial statements, which TAdviser got acquainted with at the end of July 2025.
The cost of sales on an annualized basis rose by 4.2% - from 5.8 billion rubles to 6.05 billion rubles. Commercial expenses increased from 97.23 million rubles to 103.52 million rubles, that is, by 6.5%. Management expenses jumped by almost a third - from 405.27 million rubles to 527.99 million rubles. Under the article "other income," negative dynamics was noted: the indicator decreased by 10.8% - from 2.82 billion rubles to 2.52 billion rubles. At the same time, other expenses soared by 177.9% - from 853.99 million rubles to 2.37 billion rubles.
Revenues from the sale of products, goods, works and services increased from 6.55 billion rubles in 2023 to 7.38 billion rubles in 2024 - by 12.7%. Payments to suppliers (contractors) for raw materials, materials, works and services rose by almost a quarter, amounting to 4.13 billion rubles against 3.35 billion rubles in 2023. Expenses in connection with the remuneration of workers increased by 20.8% - from 984.02 million rubles to 1.19 billion rubles.
Gross profit soared by 70.6%, amounting to 1.43 billion rubles in 2024. For comparison, a year earlier it was equal to 836.56 million rubles. Profit from sales increased by 138.2% - from 334.06 million rubles to 795.74 million rubles. However, net profit decreased by 77.2%, reaching 424.36 million rubles against 1.86 billion rubles at the end of 2023. The report says that accounts payable as of December 31, 2024 reached 1.99 billion rubles: it increased by 4.9% compared to the previous year.[1]
2022: Decrease in revenue of JSC Cinema Park by 43.2%
JSC Cinema Park, the main legal entity of the largest combined cinema network Formula Kino and Cinema Park, in 2022 showed revenues of 4.6 billion rubles. This is 43.2% less compared to the result for 2021 and comparable to the level of 2020 (4.3 billion rubles). 2021: Debt to Trust Bank 19.82 billion rubles
In January 2021, Trust Bank offered billionaire Alexander Mamut to pay off a loan delay of 0.5 billion rubles. and begin negotiations on a new debt restructuring of the United Cinema Park and Formula Kino Cinema Chain.
The total debt of Mamut's structures to the Trust exceeds 23.5 billion rubles. Of this, the main part falls on the film business - 19.82 billion rubles. at the end of December, the amount of delay in the film business in interest payments - 1.1 billion rubles.
In early January 2021, Trust has already filed a lawsuit against Mamut for 1 billion rubles. and wrote off part of the proceeds from the accounts of the United Cinema Network.
2012: Amalgamation with Kronverk Cinema
The merger of the cinema chains Formula Kino and Kronverk Cinema took place in 2012 - a controlling stake in the combined network belongs to the investment company A1. According to the results of 2012, the combined network occupies one of the leading places in Russia both in terms of fees and in terms of the number of halls (250 halls in Russia and 17 halls in Ukraine).
