Fortum (formerly OJSC Territorial Generating Company No. 10, OJSC TGK-10) is part of the Russia division of Fortum Corporation, which also includes Fortum's participation in the TGK-1 (29.5%).

The company produces electrical and thermal energy at seven thermal power plants located in the Urals and Western Siberia, as well as energy at three solar power plants (data as of September 2022).

History

2017: Change of organizational and legal form

In September 2017, a new legal form of the company was approved - Fortum Public Joint Stock Company (Fortum PJSC).

2015: Total capacity of branches. Fortum structure

As of December 2015, Fortum OJSC (Russia) was one of the producers and suppliers of thermal and electric energy in the Urals and Western Siberia.

The total installed capacity of the company's branches, subsidiaries and affiliates as of December 1, 2015 was 4,903,14 MW in electricity and 12,695,9 MW in thermal energy.

The Fortum structure included nine thermal power plants. Five of them are in the Chelyabinsk region, four are in the Tyumen region, including the Nyagan state district power station (Nyagan, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra) - one of the largest and most modern thermal power plants in Russia. The first stage in the development of wind power in the Ulyanovsk region is implemented by Fortum.

2009: Renaming as JSC Fortum

In April 2009, TGK-10 OJSC was renamed Fortum OJSC.

2008

In March 2008 the Finnish , Fortum Energy Corporation became the strategic partner and owner of TGK-10 OJSC, which is the third largest foreign investor in. the Russian to power industry

2005-2006: Making "TGK-10"

OJSC Territorial Generating Company No. 10 (OJSC TGK-10) was created by reorganizing OJSC Tyumen Regional Generating Company and OJSC Chelyabinsk Generating Company in 2005-2006[1]
