The GE Aviation Digital Solutions Department creates industry applications based on the GE Predix platform, which is the company's branded development for the industry IoT. It is a platform for the development of edge-to-cloud, allowing to combine data on the operation of engines, on-board systems and current performance into a single continuous stream for analysis and obtaining a reliable real-time picture.

2021: General Electric announces split into 3 companies
On November 9, 2021, General Electric announced a restructuring in which the conglomerate will be divided into three independent public companies specializing in healthcare, aviation and energy. The move is part of an ongoing transformation and downsizing of the industrial giant that fanned under former CEO Jeff Immelt. The section will occur from 2023 to 2024. The section will be on three companies, the company with aviation assets of GE Aviation, the company with assets in the field of medical equipment and goods for zdravoohraneniyaGE Healthcare and the GE Power company which will merge power assets and technological assets of GE Renewable Energy, GE Power and GE Digital.
